1250, that′s the year when Bolatice was first mentioned in the pope′s letter (pope Innocence 4.). Borová is a part of the town.
Baroque chateau was built between 1724 - 1748; today it serves as a town hall.
Saint Stanislav Church - in 1682 Bolatice was visited by the polish king Jan Sobieský. Church which was built in 1703 was named after the polish patron st. Stanislav, in a memory of his visit
